Description of changes by category:

Salaried Employees

Your future pay dates leading up to the pay period change will remain the same, with payments scheduled for 6/30/23 and 7/15/23. However, there will be a modification to the pay period and pay date for what would have been your 7/31/23 payment. Instead of receiving your payment on 7/31/23, it will be disbursed on 8/08/23, which is a delay of 8 days from the usual date. The 8/08/23 payment will have a specific pay period only for this one payment. After this payment is made, the payroll procedure will be realigned, and every following payment will follow the same patterns moving forward.

Moving forward, here is a breakdown of when you can expect your direct deposit payment dates to be: 6/30, 7/15, 8/08, 8/21, 9/08, 8/23, 9/08, 9/22, etc. The new direct deposit payment dates will be on the 8th and 23rd of every month, unless the 8th or 23rd falls on a weekend or holiday. In such cases, you will be paid on the business day prior to the weekend or holiday.

How does this effect your salary payment?

Normally, your 7/31/23 payment would cover the salary pay period from 7/15/23 to 7/30/23. However, for this specific payment, your pay period will be extended to 7/15/23 to 7/31/23, and the payment will be made on 8/08/23. As a result, your payment will include an additional day of salary pay.

For every subsequent payment date with a direct deposit on the 23rd of the month, the pay period will be from the 1st to the 15th of the same month. For example, the 8/23/23 payment date will have a pay period of 8/1 to 8/15.

On the other hand, for payment dates with a direct deposit on the 8th of the month, the pay period will cover the 16th to the last day of the previous month. For instance, the 9/08/23 payment date will have a pay period of 8/16 to 8/31.

How does this effect your commission payment?

As usual, your commission payment will be included in the same paycheck as your salary and will be paid on 8/08/23 instead of 7/31/23. Normally, your 7/31/23 payment would have covered the commission pay period from 7/1/23 to 7/15/23.
