Payment & Pay Periods

This Article will go over how pay periods work based on your employment type, department, or if you are a contractor.

Pay Periods

Employees are paid on a semi-monthly payment schedule

Salaried non-sales department employees:

The company operates on a semi-monthly pay schedule, pursuant to which there are 24 payments made each year, with two payments issued per month. The first payment is distributed on the 15th day of each month, and the second payment is issued on the final day of the month. The first semi-monthly payment period commences on the last day of the preceding month and concludes on the 14th day of the current month, with payment distributed on the 15th day of the current month. The second semi-monthly payment period begins on the 15th day of the month and concludes on the penultimate day of the month (most commonly the 30th), with payment issued on the last day of the month.

Sales department employees or contractors of any department:

Compensation for the period from the 1st through the 15th of the month will be disbursed on the last day of that same month. Compensation for the period from the 16th of the month through the last day of the month will be disbursed on the 15th of the following month.

Hourly Employees:

Wages earned between the 23rd day of the month and the 8th day of the following month will be disbursed on the 15th day of the subsequent month. Wages earned between the 9th day and the 22nd day of the same month will be paid on the last day of that same month.

General payment information:

Should any pay dates fall on a banking holiday or weekend for any employee or contractor, direct deposit for payroll will occur on the business day prior to the regularly scheduled pay date.

All incoming employees are required to sign up for direct deposit. If arrangements are made for direct deposit of paychecks to a financial institution, a statement of earnings and deductions will be available online. Employees are encouraged to use Rippling to view payroll statements online.
